Cadegliano-Viconago is located on the Italian side of Lago di Lugano above Ponte-Tresa and about 2 km from the Swiss border. The village is located on a sun terrace with beautiful, varied views of the lake. The place is known for its villas from the turn of the last century. Partly hidden in parks, some are clearly visible in the village a dozen best-preserved mansions from the period of Art Nouveau, which is called in Italy "Liberty" or "Floreale". As the name suggests, the VILLA FLOREAL is an outstanding representative of this time-honored building.
Cadegliano has been known for generations for relaxing holidays. Calm, Italianità and a large variety of recreational opportunities form the basis for beautiful and varied days. In the immediate vicinity there is a wide range of leisure activities, be it swimming, water sports, hiking or other activities. Good shopping possibilities are nearby and also for culinary delights the area leaves nothing to be desired.
